My name is Laura Paiz and I am honored to be the new 2011 League Secretary.  I have been a part of the La Habra Pop Warner family for the last three years, and I’m looking forward to serving on the Board for the next two years.  I have always enjoyed volunteering, and over the years I’ve served as Team Parent and Team Parent Coordinator in my boys’ various sports.  I’m also involved with my boys’ schools, and various church service projects.  Additionally, I wanted to join the Board because I truly love the game of football, and I can think of no better way to get involved in the sport.

On a personal note, I’ve been married to my husband Gary for 18 years, and we have two boys – of course, both playing football.  My older son began with La Habra Pop Warner and is now playing football at La Habra High School, and my younger son will be in the Jr. Midget division this year.  My husband Gary has always enjoyed helping coach the boys’ teams through the years.
